How much you looking for the rear calipers an brake discs? what condition are the discs in?

Im going to keep the evo brembos up front

So got bit of work done today Going to get the engine mounts so hopfully will be in properly tomorrow, like how far back the engine is

Got the seats up too an they need a good clean...They only weight 4kg each which is a good thing.

Pedal box ready to go in

Got the wheels ready for painting. going to paint them the same green as the cage...Whats peoples opinions on this?

If you have it all stripped and it literaly is just a matter of blasting it, a few hundred quid i imagine. Then if you want, send bits like subframes arms etc all for blasting and painting too. Suppose it depends if you literally just want fun on track or if you care about the car a bit more and want it in good solid condition, not a patchwork of weld plates

Would peoples here keep the 15 inch wheels on? Dont think they would pull the car about unlike the bigger wheels... That would mean getting rid of the brembo brakes an putting on the smaller m5 brakes...
17 inch wheels would fill out the archs better an allow me to run the brembos....
The 17s also would suit the gearing better i think

That engine certainly seems to site very far back even though it looks like there's ample room between the engine and the front of the car. Has there been any reinforcement done to the bulk-head area?

Yes i will get pics of it tomorrow the tunnell behind it has all been modified its a tight squeese for the pedal box between it an the roll cage

Im thinking arond 900 kgs, also have been told i can get any amount of part worn17 inch racing tyres...15s are harder to get

no brainer then, 17's with big brakes.

you may loose a bit of top end and acceleration but traction will improve i would think and with more tread on the ground to grip braking can be left later in which case the bigger brakes would work better?

Aye it all went tits up whenever he started doing work to the engine like cams an throttle bodys, im gona keep the engine standard for reliability...Mayby supercharge it at a later date...
The car should be fast enough for now the way it is geared etc

Yep spent a fortune on it Jenvey 52mm Throttlebodies,Race/Rally spec Catcams \double Valve Springs/retainers,head work,Dta management then let a so called Honda specialist in Scotland map it to a very quick destruction.

Keep it standard as it went very well they way Honda had it from the factory.

Seeing it as a shell more or less that you bought it in, would it not been worth the effort to strip it off even more and send the car to have the bottom blasted then nicely painted up again and built up nice and fresh, ?

Hopefully Tony wont have the car in any postions to be showing off the underside of the floor lol .
If you make it too shiney you wouldnt drive it to its full capacity and be afraid of marking it.
Everytime I had it freshly painted or new bumpers on it when racing it was a dead cert that it would get the newness rubbed off it quite quickly lol

yeah seen it before and during daveys time and seen one of the melted engines round at barrys never seen an engine ****ed so much but she was highly tuned then

The padded aluminium race seats can be had for around £120 and offer great support while being being strong.

Not sure on this...Ill take a look to see if there in date, ive been told that these seats are expensive, so they mite clean up an do the job
