Ok, so I'v been driving a good 7 months now, as a named driver on my mum's policy for her car.
Time has come to get a set of wheels of my own and get involved.
The past month or so I'v been looking at your typical cheap insurance cars, Clio's, 106's etc. The only problen is, they are no longer cheap to insure! Cheapest quote I can get, as a named driver under mum's policy for bog standard 10 year old Clio, garaged and everything £1600.
So, I am wondering... Is Classic Car insurance the way forward? The loophole?
Does anyone know if you qualify for Classic Car insurance at 17?
And does anyone have any suggestions for what I could go for?
Old Mini's etc.
Cheers
