thanks for all the input guys sorted, initially went to argos to buy another 4.5 inch grinder but could only cut so far in so i went in as far as i could and then decided to clean it up and return it as it kept cutting out they exchanged this for the 9 inch one so got to work with that bad boy, have a few wee picture here and il try upload a wee video to end it, granted i marked the outer face of the brake disc but i have new discs all round to go on....

this was after you'd spent a day and 2 angle grinders, destroying a wheel, ****ing up a brake disk and buggering a caliper on a car that you were almost in tears over because someone was going to break it rather than sell it to you.
not entirely sure what you've got to be smug about to be honest...

who s being smug im whistling, spent a day, wrecked an old angle grinder fair enough, wheel was wrecked with brake dust the spare alloy was going on anyway, the disc was already ruined hence why i bought new ones......what's the "smug" whistling for george?
