The juke replacement......fk2

So one of my dream cars to own was a fk2.....seeing them in the showroom I fell in loved but was unable to purchase one due to things changing in life.

Fast forward 8 years and yesterday I picked one up, to say am happy is understatement.

The previous owner was a detailer and to say the way was perfect don't even come close.

Not mark on it, and only modification was injen short ram which is all I want, and with only 36miles and full service history could not say no.

The drive home had a huge smile on face.....plans are to keep it very clean, couple carbon trim bits and enjoy it.

Just lovely! And I’m sure it’s been said before but what about a little 25mm spacer in the rear and 15mm Spacer in the front?

Was thinking of getting spacers as the wheels sit in bit too much for my liking.

Had car just over week and love it! The styling looks do aggressive and the engine is beast.

Would recommend one anyway!!!

Love these, was tempted by 1, but as a daily driver I settled on the 1.8 petrol. Makes a great all rounder.

So busy week for the fk2.....1st I always like a good to mid range audio install in car, and naturally only once choice for job

So off to audio advice it went where Phil and his team installed the following

Audison 5 channel amp
Blam 165mm high efficiency components
Fsk-700 wiring kit
APBX8DS 8" SEALED BOX
And sound deading as well

This will be my 5th car done them so well chuffed.

While I was collecting mine there was a brand new type r there and got a nosing around and what a machine!!!


Then next was off to mechanic where it got new brakes fitted, wind deflectors and a dream automotive decat pipe fitted....it does add a nice note to car with the injen kit and remap.


That's all at moment for car.....going save the penny's and next will be a nice set of rims

That was my FL5 in for an audio upgrade as the stock system was terrible to be honest. I had the FK2 for 7 years as a daily before changing and loved every minute of it.

How do you find the OEM head unit in the FK2?

Awful lol lack of bass ......when had volume up quality got worse and the doors vibration bad too

Yeah I had to do an audio upgrade in my fk2 as well, but kept the OEM head unit in which has a unique menu system LOL.

I kept the oem unit but I am debating to change to kenwood or pioneer model

No updates just enjoying this car, I love how aggressive it looks from all angles.
