Another bit done today.
It was off to Prentice this morning for an Airbag recall. The new one sticks out like a sore thumb, but at least there's less of a chance of a face full of it when I'm out for a drive now.
Then this afternoon, it was off to collect a set of Piano Black dash trims & armrests. And a rear ashtray as a bonus!
My passenger armrest had been sprayed in the past & reacted. I had been watching eBay for the most of a year to try and get one to replace it, as it was doing my head in.
I couldn't find one in the right colour & any I did see, were in worse condition than what I had. I had noticed an ad on FB for a set of Cream leather door cards, with black handles, so messaged the guy. He was local and happy to split the cards & trim, so bought the set he had.
It was quite an easy job to swap the lot, although TIL rear couple armrests are longer than Cab ones.... Ah well!!
And last but not least, I replaced my broken rear ashtray louvre!
Back to eBay for a couple of rear armrests then....
Next up is a front wheel refurb & I'll get the reg on as soon as my retention doc arrives in the post!
