93 cavalier BTCC look

Cavalier project that has took many turns this last few months but I’ve decided on what my plan is

Bought this with no keys, engine or box

Planned to b204 it and paint it yellow an Sri rep

But took a notion of going BTCC and 2.5v6

So new front an rear shocks, front an rear 60mm springs. New front wishbones, track rod ends an stabiliser links, new front an rear wheel bearings, discs an pads front an rear
Used Saab front an rear hubs for 5 stud
An new handbrake cables to run the rear discs

Dash and interior needs pulled as it’s a horrible blue

My BTCC decals landed last week

Full service kit is here an waiting to be fitted once I get my 3ltr cams

Next stage is get the engine bay painted white an look about getting the engine in and running

Hopefully get a go at fitting the digital clocks this weekend

Hoping this will end like this

Subscribed!!! Much like others, I always dreamed about wanting to build a touring car rep. Massive wheels, huge camber so they are tucked well into the arches, oversized sunstrip and spoiler, and scrubbing the floor. Always pictured a Laguna, or the the two tone Rydell S40 Volvo.

Yeasss I still have toca touring car championship for the ps1. The Volvo was my favourite car back then.

It’ll be sitting on cavalier 60mm springs front an rear but not suspension will not be as stiff an locked the same
