This is a good old Beasties (mark beeson) Nova turbo. Its the reason why i stripped the old car to build one!

He's a complete nutter too, here's his video of his lap on Youtube.

About 2 mins 19 sec's hear him shout "140!!" then he lifts off and the car so's all wonky lol, Nutter!!

Its 14 miles long and its very hard to know whats next, what each corners like. The locals and regulars say it takes 1000 laps to memorise the track and then safely take it on full speed all the time. Mark has only done about 15 laps.

I've done about 15 laps of it too, (my video shows 1st lap of second trip and 5th in total) and everytime i came to a corner, i kinda knew where i was, but couldnt remember what was next.

Still tho, you can see mark gain confidence when he's got cars in front (a target to go at)

Oh, and my front end wont look like that, i'm looking into having a thin intercooler and radiator combo to fit behind the bumper to keep the standard look.

And to the people who say its not intense, how can you compare your vids of experienced race drivers who have probably done thousands of laps to someone from the UK whos only out for some fun?

what a pointless comments as it would be daft to suggest that you are going to be using anywhere near 280bhp going round any corner (especially in a vauxhall nova)

my point was that from watching the video, he hits the brakes before turning it, freewheels round the corner then goes like the hammers when he has a straight line ahead.

anyone who has done a bit of track racing will know have a fair idea of what the racing line will be in a corner, although young Keifanova here has suggested that he was being cautious due to inexperience of the track, which answers my question.
