First time at doing this, so please go easy....

I'm looking for some advice on replacing the standard stereo on my 06 Renault Megane. I have picked out which head unit suits my needs, but I am lost in part numbers for the installation adaptors and the facias. If anyone has already done this or knows what I need, advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking at fitting a basic Clarion CZ220EG unit in the car as it does not have bluetooth or a front USB port. The main point for me is the rear USB which I can run into the glove box for the sake of neatness.

I am not sure if I need the CTSRN002, CTSRN003, CTSRN004, or CTSRN005 adaptor for the steering wheel controls as there is no specific guide I can find saying exactly what I need. I don't want to spend my free time finding stuff doesn't work and running about looking for refunds or exchanges.

Also, quick question about the facia's... From the product selectors and the guide by car model/year, the CT24RT03 looks about right for the car, but I'm not sure if its the exact part I need as the CT24RT06 looks like the setup I already have out of the factory. Will the CT24RT03 just fit over the gap left and leave me with the tray below?

Any help is greatly appreciated guys. Thanks.

Cheers Ge0rge, will get some ordering done and hopefully have it all fitted out by the end of next week.

Yes, I have a fairly good idea of what I am doing, but I have never had to order all the bits from scratch. Tweaked about with the stereo in my old Honda before but that's the height of my experience.

That's the best way to do it and learn :)
