Autotune /OBD have a good rep as far as I know, not 100% how accurate their rollers are, but I guess you can work off the figures and see how you feel, easy guys to work with and know their stuff

Pretty sure they bought it together? I wish he'd buy a second set of rollers to cater for 4wd owners :p

I have heard of people going to certain companies and getting a run on rollers only to be told they need this that and of course the other.... All i will be wanting is a run on rollers as richard will be the one that the car goes back to if anything is suggested. Just something to be wary of though.

Only thing Autotune told me when the car was on the rollers than if I wanted to hybrid the turbo id be advised to uprate the clutch.. and also after going over 40mph or so the esp light will turn off....

Its 2wd which is all i need. Your right its not massive. But i think most people on here have been spoilt by the setup at AI. But i do also hope rms make somewhere else there home for RR days,

so a.i's dastek was wrong and this other place was right - you have proof of that of course don't you....
just coincidence you believe the higher 1 ?
i think dasteks are widely regarded as accurate and 1 of the few set-ups that are tamper proof ( unlike most of the others)
loose strap here / change of temps there and bingo - your 200 hp cars making 400 with a k&n !!

Everyone always thinks a high number is "accurate" and a low number is wrong. What a load of balls. It's just a number, nothing more, nothing less.
You cant compare one dyno to another, and often you can barely compare the same dyno on different days. The numbers can nearly always be manipulated anyway, which makes them even more impossible to believe.

Some rollers are a poor design and wheelspin will always be a problem. Others are not and wheelspin will rarely be a problem. With proper rollers though, I dont think there are any cars in this country that will have an issue with wheelspin. The issue will be with the rollers. Having to apply multiple straps simply highlights this ( unless of course you're well into 4 figures )

So neither hub/rollers are more accurate. Dynapack is an excellent setup for sure, and perhaps more repeatable. But "accurate" as you call it ? It's as debatable with a Dynapack as it is with any setup.

All rollers need to be, is to be repeatable and consistent. If they do that at any one site, then they're doing their job.

    what proof is that mate-
i'm not having a go - simply asking as your making sweeping statements about ai.'s innaccuracy
whats your car and spec that your expecting a certain fig ?
a.i. have dyno'd lots of cars at higher hp than your figure with accuracy to other dyno's(mine included) and all seemed to match up pretty well with what folks expected to see - that's why i'm asking

I'll probably use ds auto's as I'll need a fuelling check done. Used a setup furthur up the country last year and would be hesitant to return. No lambda used, no straps used and revved to the limiter were just a few of the things that put me off.

Firstly the rollers are sold to beyond these shores so you wont have to worry about it again so that should please you.

However, your car was held in with 2 chocks on the front to stop it going forwards and one strap on the rear pulling it downwards into the rollers themselves. Had we needed anymore than one strap to stop your car wheel spinning once we had got temperature into the tyres and attained full grip we would have applied a second. There was no need tho as we had no wheel spin and no grip issues and according to our rolling road thats what it made, now we didnt maufacture the rollers so we are not exactly what you call "personally responsable for how they measure power" although you would think the way people go on that we did.
The one thing i will miss about the RR is being able to use them to tune on to see the gains your making and where and to be able to compare before and afters on the car but i sure wont miss all the " those read high", "those read low" threads and comments . They have served me and most of the rms crew well over the years to see the gains and losses that have been made with modifications and problems and i for one will be sad to see them go away.

I have never seen a car on ECC`s rollers without the fan and probe in, I dont think Adrain would even consider doing that as he is to professional.

I watched him RR my mates car without either. This is why i asked if they didn't use them and was told they never do.
