Phil - call down and i'll take you for a spin and throw it into a few 90 degree off camber bends for you then try the same in your car and that should make your mind up.

And stay away from just springs. Once you stick a set of lowering springs in a car with standard struts you immediately mess things up and you have a mismatch on your hands. Yeah it'll look good but a strut and spring that are not matched is a recipe for, not disaster, but certainly ineffective suspension.

I can't comment on how the 197/200s drive but my cars on XYZs which you were considering and I've had a few sets of coils. These are by far the best on the market within their price-range. Height adjustable as well as dampening adjustable. Just make sure you get them set up properly. When mine were thrown in they weren't set up or adjusted properly and were harsh as feck. But now they're perfect and really stiffen the whole car up, improving the handling immensely, the dampening is a great job as you can adjust accordingly, Plus they can go pretty damn low if required.

NO NO def not down the springs road either leave it as it is or coilovers, and will always have the cup setup at arms lenght in the house.

Eibach springs are very good, they'll be designed to work with the standard dampers, so should work very well on the car and enhance the handling if nothing else.

They will enhance the handling, or keep it fairly similar

but theyll not lower it much

Are you every going to use the £1000+ coilovers to there full.... On a race track etc....

They handle well, look well standard...

Or fit coilovers and spacers, drop it to the floor, damage the underside of the car, and rup holes in the plastic arch linners.... ( SOUNDS FUN....! )

    Just leave it.....!

Or fit eibach springs and the job will indeed be jobbed lol.

Don't know why everyone fears decent springs, especially eibach. Afterall they are one of the top suspension makers.
