Now that 'Summer' is over, it's time to start thinking about winter motoring. We offer FREE vehicle health checks that include inspections of your car's tyres, battery and anti-freeze. We can also underseal your vehicle from as little as £99. Call us on 9145 3310 to make a booking.

Most people tend to do it themselves, get the car in the garage up on axle stands send whip the wheels of her and start painting! I personally prefer Hammerite Undersea with Waxoil, covers well and seems to be hardwearing.

your probably right man lol.....out of interest would you have an idea what id need for high 300's to around 400bhp? Is it possible with standard internals and fuelling?
was thinking walbro, remap, downpipe, and a bigger turbo(80 series?)...already has the downpipe back decatted magnex and a K&N induction kit

    All of the above :)
Problem is tho.. The standard internals will be out of their comfort zone :( some Evo's r ok.. N there's others that just crumble :(

Jonny will keep ya right.. :)

Easiest way to get 400 bhp from an internally standard evo engine is to sell it and buy a Cosworth - They came proper from the factory, in the 1980s :p

Pity it's the only bit they got right lol

Make sure it's done properly... It needs to be thoroughly washed, dried, treated and then undersealed. The actual undersealing bit is easy enough (albeit dirty). The treating bit is a total nightmare plus it needs time to dry thoroughly. DIYing it took me 3 solid weekends on the Jeep though I did the MK3 much quicker because it's not going to be out in the rain. You could also just have the stuff lashed on with a brush in an hour or two but I think that'll do more harm than good, especially if it's put on over dampness or existing rust.
