Spelga Dam Hill Climb

    What time does this start and where is best place to park and watch from as I have never been before\ (y)

    Starts at about 10.00, best place is the bottom S bends, head out the Bryansford RD then turn Right into Kinnahalla Rd,

    It will save a long walk as the Hill Climb road is closed at the crossroads on the Kilkeel Rd below the hill

    Oil on the road, Only got 3 runs at the hill,

    Not too fussed as the rear shocks were fooked so the back end was Very soft!!
    Made the top of the hill interesting lol

    a pipe blew of the SD1 and was soaking the road with oil nothing could be done

    lol colin sure you only need to brake once at spelga and thats at the first left hand hairpin everything else is flat out!!!
    Ha ha big tom closed the hillclimb...

    Sure I never use brakes going up hills :p

    I heard Big Tom forgot his pipe and slippers and wanted to go home early to get them,

    Dont think he was, saw him loadin it on to the trailer at the top of the hill, after looking at the pics he was very lucky!!
