putting a sunroof in?

    as title says, is it possible to get a sunroof in a non sunroof car?
    if so who would do it and what coino we talking?

    yes, we used to have a guy who done it, certain cars can, certain ones cant because of strenghen-er bars across roofs etc

    If the likes of citreon/peugeot cant build a car without a leaky sunroof i wouldnt fancy a custom sunroof in my car. Id love a sunroof though.:cool:

    Used to be common enough job, I remember years ago in our garage that people would get a sunroof fitted maybe once a month on average. Had to cut into the roof with a jigsaw cutter and it took a fair bit of precision and sealing afterwards, but was an easy way to get a sunroof on the cheap. As mention though, it's a bit more difficult nowadays with the extra strengthening, lining, etc you find on modern cars.

    get yourself a Decano Sunroof, easiest fitted sunroof by a mile and will impress the ladies no end ;)

    I agree with Paul. I can also count the times I've used my sunroof on one hand..... it'll just leak probably anyway

    My dad had one fitted to a car years ago. Was fitted about 1 month after he got the car, was a good job and didn't leak either. Don't know who fitted it though.

    If you plan to keep the Corsa, then go for it, but it may be better getting a whole new roof section welded in OEM style.

    Then again, some of them aftermarket jobbies are pretty trick also, dont forget, insurance companies classify it as a mod etc.
