i fitted a ck3100 to my mk4 golf, working 100%. problem is that after fitting it my battery seems to be playing up. i had the interior light on when i fitted it, first time i drove the car when i went to start it the door locks let out a slight noise as if the battery was drained. i no this might seem unbelievably stupid but does any1 know what the problem could be or is it just the battery was low after the light being on when fitting? took the car a run this morning to charge the bat a bit and seems to be better now. just thought i would ask the question before i find the car wont start some day lol
i should prob say also that the ignition live a permanent live are the correct way round and it aint stayin on and draining the bat when the car is off....anybody with any advice its much appreciated
When you pull out the key and the parrot powers down its nothing to do with the parrot. Charge your battery overnight and you should be grand. Sounds like a flat battery just.
yeah like i said it works 100% shuts off properly but just lets out a beep to say its turned off rather than goodbye, i thought it was just the battery a bit flat but thought i would see if any1 else had came across this and if there was maybe a problem with the permanent live, anyway seems to dead on now, ive had the car out a couple of times and she started no bother after i gave her a good run and the bat charged a bit, cheers lads
Hmm never heard of the bleep noise, could be wrong!!!! I have a parrot mki 9100 in my car and once the key is taken out a delay shut off followed by 'goodbye' is shown on the screen.
sorry i have the model number mixed up, its the ck3000 evolution but it def just beeps and its def wired the right way as regards to ignition and perm live, when the car is off so is the parrot and it pairs no bother everytime, its all working perfect now anyway and the battery was just a bit low cow the lights had been on etc when the car was off
settings prob on the phone if it got new software then its basically a blank canvass u r working off, u would need to allow the parrot permission to access your phone without you having to search/listen for it everytime u get in the car
