My on board camera shot of the NI Sevens/Roadsports Race 1 at Kirkistown 28th of august

Was an enjoyable race after some hard work to get abit of speed out of the car that is only new this year.

Unfortunatly too much entry speed in the chicane on the final lap and loss of talent cost me a seventh place finish! lol :'(

Nice vid. Looks like some cracking evenly matched racing there! You were a bit unlucky!

Just watched that robin, from 9:30 we had such a great tussle! i didnt think anything of the size of that gap into the chicane at the time i just went for it! lol fecking awesome racing, i cant believe the championship is coming to an end :(

Im going to have to look at the my brakes, i see from the video's is locking on EVERY corner the front left! so im going to have to see how i can resolve that! brake bias valve i did notice my brakes where really spongey in race two!

You seemed to be locking one of the back ones a fair bit.

I found the bias valve really helped as long as I can remember which way to turn it in the race

Oh do you think it was a rear? That's odd then! It doesn't feel like it's locking at all! I think I'll get a valve in over the winter and some new brakes!

Yeah I've playschool rollbars front and rear! I run 250 fronts 180 rears. I know jimmy has no roll bar and runs around 350lb springs! It's an easy mod.. Springs are something like £35 a pair from rallydesign!

The racing is less than 2000 a year. If you put effort in you could get that through sponsorship. then the cars are anything from 3000+ depending on your engineering skills/time

Cheers Robin! It'll likely be a slow process, get it stripped back and go from there. Might not be as bad as it first seemed though!
