It's a championship (National B) autotest run by the UAC for the Autotest Drivers Club

More updates coming soon which may see Graham man up and show up for the crowd :p

The downside to Drifting is the lack of MSA affiliation, and the fact there is never likely to be an affiliation.

Drifting is a judged sport, not a timed sport and that is VERY hard to regulate, you cant argue with a stopwatch or timing beam, you can argue with a bias judge!

I would love to see drifting at the event, finding the right Governing Body (ProDrift, BDC, etc) to bring the Drifting to the event may be harder than just giving them a phonecall and seeing who's coming along for sh*ts and giggles. Either way, its something i will pass back to the organisers and see what can be done.

Yes Graham, everything will be done on permits, MSA stewards will be onsite throughout the event, and scrutineering will take place as per normal for each aspect.

I'm not sure, I'm guessing cash too, you would need to contact the organisers to find out more.

no problem is a show-goer, unfortunately I believe the car show is closed off after a certain time early morning.

Unfortunately H&S rules mean no vehicular movements whilst there is a crowd/public

nope, all pre-booked dude. Unfortunately due to H&S again, pre-booking means you have agreed to the terms & conditions and know the times to be there etc as all vehicle movements outside of the competitive events have to be kept to absolute bare minimum.

I know its a bit of hassle, unfortunately the nature of the beast. Something that we can look at changing for next year
