Ours is down in the passenger footwell.

Keeps the engine bay clear and provides the extra punch to haul her in.

Then again, the reason ours has the servo and power steering is so your not completely hanging out of yourself by the time you have finished a days sport.

As said, we'll arrange a wee drive sometime in ours and get a good look round all the "works" tricks that have been done throughout.

Keep up the good work though. Good to see someone putting proper stuff into a classic. Most people seem to think a respray and new wheels is a restoration.

Will have to have a go in it sometime. :)

Would love a look round yours! Cheers, most people dont get the point of it or appreciate the work thats in it. We were at a modified show in cavan this year and a guy in a mk2 escort said "the wee mini dow there looks the part, still probably just dressed up to look like something like it's not"

He didn't know I owned it so had to laugh to myself. Obviously didn't read the spec sheet on the window lol

I half to laugh at people when they ask why I waste the amount I do on mine. I don't think alot of people realise the huge following behind the mini and the amounts of buisness that specialise in parts for them. It's almost insulting really

Just got my mini back on the road after a year an a half in the garage. Forgot just how much fun it is. So much so that I'm selling my Audi and using it as my daily driver!

I fitted a set of Cobra classic buckets and I can barely touch the top of the wheel when I sit right back so I've just ordered a wee steering column drop bracket to bring the wheel closer to me.

I've only recently noticed how many of the parts are interchangeable with my land rover too, I'll only need to keep one set of spares :p

A lot of parts sitting for it to be fitted but just haven't had the thime to get near it, the list so far is a deep dish suede steering wheel, new dash and custom dials, new pedals, new lighter minifins, shift light, diagonal for the cage and an alloy petrol tank. The business just took over this summer unfortunately. By next season I'm aiming to have the interior completely finished a fresh coat of paint on the car.

Drove it from the garage at home up to the unit last week and it sparked my interest again :)
