jz some job, never near one til recent seen a wee s13 getting mapped, wee innocent white s13 or 180, tatty looking... noise out of it was unreal at 2am getting mapped. Mapping stopped at something like 430bhp because needd a stronger wastegate spring...
2JZ powers are no laughing matter, have tortured myself so many times with dumping the SR for one. Seriously quick E36.
i assume a lump and gearbox and all bits needed, big single tubby...would be a very expensive swap andy ?
Well Engine and box will set you back over 2k, plus a decent single turbo and manifold, injectors, cams, management... a big investment. Then again look at Phil Morrison's or Paul Conlan's cars, awesome results.
2JZ GTE, responds really well to tuning. Would be a shame to put it in a Datsun though Andy Would love to go with a big single just for the craic. BPU on standard turbos is fun enough for road use. jamesy

^^ Ueno San hasn't had much luck up to now...many teething problems, but its all about development! The car has overgone a full overhaul and setup/mapping by Do-luck's Ito San, so should be more competitive this season Aside from that i've personally had a guide around the car many times by Ueno, and the work is AMAZING! As always with T&E/Sui:Vax
Yeah, one of the Video option episodes, he was in tears after seeing something break, which in turn caused the car to crash. Beautifully engineered. Just wish I could understand Japanese to work out what they were saying! Chris - I assume that it caused a bit of a stir when they chose to use the E92 platform?
