Hey, i'm getting a new 4-1 manifold and decat in the next few weeks and was wondering what (if any) would need to be done to get the most from it? I'm fairly new to mods like this ^:o)
    It's an 03 civic ep2 :)

It's not local to me or I would have called in, just looking to know how much I should budget for when I get them installed.
Wouldn't be until next week anyway

We can use a unichip or hondata to map it to suit/get the best from the mods. If you give me a ring tomorrow I can explain the pros and cons of both systems. As far as price the unichip fitted and mapped is 480 and hondata fitted and mapped is about 1150 howeve the hondata has a resale value if about 650 and a unichip about 100.
    Cheers jonathan.

Can Hondata be used on an EP2? Or is this a Type R?

The bank won't thank me, they already hate me but if it means driving around with a smile on my face can't complain!

Did you notice much difference with the chip?

Once you have the full exhaust system on and a good induction kit the ECU map will transform it mate, it did with my Type R. Cracking work by Jonny with the mapping as well, explained certain things to me and kept me informed. Just need more power now:p

How much would it be to just fit and map the unichip if you already have one?
    Thanks

Depends on what car but on a civic EP3 it would be £300 to fit and map a self supplied unichip:D
