I was invited last week to see if I wanted or knew of anyone that might need a few bits from cars this man has that have been lying in his field for a very long time. He is looking very little money for anything that is savable.
There were lots of cars that were in various states of going back to nature and he hasn't discovered just what all is lying about yet. I took a few photo's of the ones I could see so if you see something you might need let me know and I'll ask about it.
I'm due to go back next Saturday to lift Fiat Panda Sisley and a very rusty Fiat 500 so will take more photo's of anything else that's been uncovered.

Vauxhall Chevette did seem to have a lot of good parts.

Indian bike of some discription No not from India, the American Indian maker.

    Manta/Cavalier not sure which

Ford Anglia 105E. Couldn't get close enough to see how bad it was.

He said this was a Volvo but I'm not convinced as I think it's a Wolsey of some sort.

And a 1969 Midget with only 3K from new. Engine, box, drivetrain and dash are all there.

There are around 40 cars and vans we think.
    3 or 4 old Bedford CF's
    The escort size Bedford vans
    MK1 Land Rover
    TVO Tractor
    2 MK2 Jags
    Allegro
    Marina
    Triumph 2500 Pi
    MK1 Escort
    Mk2 Cortina
    Mk3 Cortina
    Datsun Sunny
    That's all for now.
Oh and he also has 3 sheds full to the rafters with various bits that he has to sort through but believes there are parts dating back to the 50's if not further.

The Cortina and the Landy are ones he know's are there but hasn't dug them out yet so no idea of what state they might be in.
It's going to take a while to uncover everything. I'll let him know your interest and once they are set free from the reeds and bushes I'll come back to you.

No other Pandas (I was hoping there would be a spare windscreen in the Sisley for my MK1 but the car turned out to be to good to break). I'm not planning on getting all Italian stuff but if I can't find buyers for all the bits that turn up, (there's supposed to be a few Lancia twin cam engine's and boxes to), I'll probably end up doing a deal to take the lot

The guys father was a mechanic and has been working on cars since 1963. A lot of the car's were just left by people who never came back to lift them. When he got to old to work anymore he just moved them all to the field and closed the gate.
It's an amazing place as he worked on boats to so had a huge workshop for wood working and the lathes, bench saws and the like were all belt driven by a long shaft that went the length of the work shop. It was powered by a huge diesel engine and before that a water wheel. All the old woodworking tools are just sitting about rusting to. And the workshop isn't in the best of shape.

Guys. I've had so many emails in the last hour between guys from here and a couple of other sites I posted on, I'm starting to lose track.
I'll make a list out of who's looking what but it would make things easier if people interested PM me with their phone number and what they're after. I'll then pass your details on to the owner of all the stuff for him to contact you.

    How's that sound

Just spoke to the owner, it's a very early TVO Fergie, I think he said it was 1944/45.
