My Karcher 3.99 wont work when i put an attachment on ie dirt blaster or snow foam lance but when i take them off the power washer pump can be heard working anyone had any similar problems and fixes
I assume yours has the baynott fitting adaptors? Just had a look at mine and it seems there is a yellow part at the end of the attachment that has to engage into the lance handle. This yellow part rotates, perhaps if yours is stuc it prevents the water from flowing through?
The water can flow through it just comes out like a dribble but very intermittently it comes out normal
Try someone else's lance. It sounds like there is dirt trapped. My old Karcher used to give bother for this until I upgraded to a commercial version.
its either dirt or the pump is jiggered as said try someone elses lance to rule out dirt. the pump sometimes gives trouble with these models. upgraded my pump to a metal one which was a far better job as I had a similar problem. does the powerhose pressure hunt when idle ie go on/off/on/off when sitting idle trying to maintain pressure? if not then its more a dirt problem
No it doesnt make any noise until i press the button on the lance. Il have to try another person lance see how i get on
got a lad thats going to bring his lance out to my house tomrrow so we can give this a try and see how i get on from there. Dont want to be buying a new powerhose after only 3 uses lol
