As some of you know, I've been trying to shift a car for a while now (I won't put a link as I'm asking this question, not promoting the car) but despite being £400 cheaper that anything similar age/miles on Autotrader and over £900 less than Pistonheads and other sites, it still hasn't budged. So the question is, despite there being nothing wrong with it, have I priced it in such a way that people will automatically assume there is? Would you not even considering calling about a car if you deemed it too cheap for what it is?
no, thats nonsense...... people just dont wanna part with money right now and are buying cars at less than 1k and all the hype about diesel being this wonderfull stuff that will get you everywhere for next to nothing means big petrol engined cars are hard to sell on, its like everything you need to just get the right man at the right time unfortunately, ive no patience either thats why i always offer swaps/px.
AT trader is a lost cause... have you it on UCNI ? agree with Marc, std wheels would make me look twice at it if i was on the market for such a car
Probably, but at a price and I'd rather not spend anything on it and then have to raise the price to accomodate that. I'm tempting to heur some silver paint at them though, I agree it ruins the car with them in black.
Get it onto Gumtree and Donedeal. People slag them but I've sold some expensive cars on them when I didn't get a phonecall from Pistonheads and AT!
X2 for donedeal though you will get offered a lot of p/x....i got offered a 99 imprezza wagon for an 05 berlingo van this morning lol
People keep talking about the wheels but i dont know what the car looks like to comment lol, would you mind throwing up a link?
Illegal I believe? Bloody wheels. But would people in the know not take the low price into account and budget some new wheels?
@chapletown just put new wheels on his car, perhaps he has a set of OE wheels he could sell/swap for yours.
