I fitted one of these in my sisters car, for use predominantly as a hands free kit. it works fine however she really isnt interested in it playing music. however the phone connects automatically and starts to play the gammy tune that is in the phones memory. this is cracking her up and Im getting the blame. how can I stop this happening!! thanks (its actually an io talk model)
i`ve had this problem with several kits on a nokia phone. sadly there is no way I could find of stopping the phone doing this. Its a nightmare.

Is it a nokia? Seems to be the only Phone that gives the problem and only one model in particular. I fitted one for the Missus recently and she uses it flat out!!!!!!
yeah its a nokia, its not a fancy one mind you i don't think. but it has some default music in it which i cant get rid of. (not sure on the phone model.)
I removed the ioplay from the clio when it was stripped but mine worked fantastically with the iphone, never had this issue. Maybe it is only nokias as ollie says
Yeah, I could near guarantee it's te same model of nokia. Basic phone but seems to audio stream with the best of them
