what comment would that be ?

lets face it...the other half obviously thought it was alright to take delivery of it...only when it got home did the man of the house make the decision that it wasnt up to standard and decided to tell everyone on the internet!

If they say they are going to sort it out then why not let them sort it out? They have offered that:confused:. Surely it would be 'free' to you? It would at least be better than it is at present? Then if you are really fussy and want it detailed then get that done later on.

Most cars come with contaimnates on them anyhow from the likes of rail/lorry transport. If you had an attitude towards them [i don't know?] are they really likely to 'try their best' to help you. I treat people how i'd like to be treated and im sure you would too.

Demanding hundreds of pounds to have somene else clean it isn't really going to wash with ANY dealer main or not.

IMO 99% of the things that annoy or upset us, "in the grand scheme of things" arent as important as we think. And its obvious if someone`s only problem is to do with his car, then many people would gladely trade their problems for that! But the fact is, he bought a brand new car, why should he accept anything less that perfect condition, regardless of how important it really is "in the grand scheme of things" lol..

The "Valeters" at Belfast Audi use a blade - they kindly left some horizontal scratches on the roof on delivery....nice touch!

BTW anyone seen the scuff and swirl trolleys at Tesco knocknagoney - you have to pay these guys to ruin your paintwork though?

well it was a bit dumb of him to take it like that, if it was dented or had a kerbed wheel or ripped seat or cracked window or something you wouldnt have taken it and this is nearly worse than that.

stinking attitude there forde. It may have been wet, or the wife picked it up.

you shouldnt expect to have to inspect a brand new car and if it was wet at all youd never notice that.
