    Just spied this on youtube and thought I would share, not one clue as to what spec or type of V6 the engine is but sounds fab in the woods here

    Reminds me alot of the sound of our DTM Opel V6.. sounds great in the forest!

    i havent seen it, i was thinking about the same engine that was used in the English Cossie 306.. same unit we had in the MP88 Pilbeam for a while.

    Ahh pilbeam (Tom New) where using those too for the 2.5L V6's it was developed by QED, decent engine im told.

    Was it not developed by Powertrain???

    I dont know of any other earlier 2.5 V6's

    By developed i suppose i mean tuned, they do all sorts of inlet manifolds etc for it.. Powertrain built it for rover?

    Andy Burton's motor. Red 306 space framed jobbie. Had a run in that a few years back. He built a replacement but the MSA banned him from the BRC

    I was talking about the KV6, rover 800 to start with then into Rover 75's and MG ZS's.

    It's a rover based 2.0l v6 built by a uni doctor from cork apparently.

    Does sound like a KV6 to be fair. The 2.0 is 150 bhp as standard but is hugely restricted by pre cats and manifold system. Throttle boddies are proving popular on them with kit cars now

    It's a Rover Engine and at full chat it is truly immense. BUT twin pipes on a Mk2 Escort is just wrong.
