Hi all! I'm in need of a very good painter relatively close to Bangor, Co. Down. Who's the best??

They have to have all the proper equipment etc and do a top top job as I'm wanting a very near factory finish. I need someone that will look after my car when they have it and basically do a real good job painting it ie. no drips, rough areas, bad matches or damage to any other parts of my car...(U)

Thanks a lot, feel free to PM!! (y)

ok, thanks for the reply's folks. to narrow down, who of y'all has had a lot of painting done by a specific person and has always been more than happy with it- the more work you've had done the more likely i am to use your man! need someone who is really good at what they do and takes the time to do things right - i wouldn't even say i'm fussy, just think they are a lot of shops out there who book up too much work for themselves (meaning they need to employ more 'helpers' who don't have a CLUE what they're doing) then make a complete f**k up of some peoples work, rather than organise things better and get everyones work done 100% and charge slightly more...

liking the sound of this terry henry, mainly because he sounds like a one man band which is definitely the kind of thing i'm after. so long as all the correct equipment is available

Terry has a fantastic reputation. You just need to look at his cars to see that he is very fussy (y) Never had work done by him myself, but I know a good few people that have and havnt heard any complaints.

I cant say any more than go to Terry. Hes been recommended several times already and if he didnt know what he was doing, that wouldnt have happened.

Of course all the equipment is available, hes a painter ffs, not a piano tuner.

if i wanted a list i would have looked in the phone book mate. looking for first hand experience here. and i for one have first hand experience of 2 of the above being complete sh*te painters.

the age of the car is totally irrelevant?- the car getting the work done could be a 1995 skoda felicia and i'd still want any paint job i was paying money for to be 100%, why shouldn't i??
