Well the postman brought a little surprise for me today, a notice of intended prosecution for excessive speed. The NIP was for my old car which went back to the finance company two weeks ago. Question is, can I just turn up at the Processing centre at Lisnasharrah PSNI with the evidence of handing the car back or do I have just I down the postal route.

Any advice greatly appreciated never had dealings with the psni only Scottish police. Not happy!

Dunno about calling in (doubt it however otherwise they'd have to have a massive staffing presence lol), but regardless of if you can/cant, anything you hand over or post off, keep copies and use recorded delivery (y)

Was going to anyway and put in a letter explaining the situation and a copy of the collection paperwork, but in scotland I could have just rolled up to the local police station and showed them the evidence, wasn't too sure of what the score would be over here. .

There is a reception desk in lisnasharragh. Normally you can get seen very quickly there so you might get some assistance
