When you say fixed, I assume you mean non reclineing(sp)? Fixed seats may not be allowed for MOT under the new changes, I'm trying to get an answer on it, there is new reg's that the seat must adjust, I think fixed back will be acceptable as long as the whole seat moves

So in a rally car with 'fixed' buckets you will have to install runners??? and the same in my kitcar?

I'd imagine the way it will be (an certainly the way I'll treat it) as long as the seat is secure its acceptable, I think its directed at seats which have a faulty mech will require repair so it works or a locking device fitted so it can't move, currently if the seat is secure its acceptable. If that makes sense
