1st round of the PaceNotes NI championship and held at Kirkistown race circuit Co. Down - is a stage rally event using probably 3 or 4 stages twice and a bit of gravel but mostly tarmac and concrete surface. great event but very cold so wrap up well and always great chances of good pictures as you can get quite close and service area is usually good to walk round. i ain't seen an entry as yet but i'd say she'l be high with a few big names making it and i know mike curran has a deal for a drive in an impreza WRC (99 model i think) so it'l be good to see him out in something with a bit more bite than the evo7 and good luck mate.

mark doyle was doin really well in his 106 till he had some car trouble was really impressed with that!!! He was beating quite a few of the 4wd cars!!!!
yeah that 106 is unreal but it takes a good driver and by god he can drive neat and tidy which = fast
yeah the weather was freezin but then again u cant really expect much more from kirky. I was timekeepin and had to spend most of the time in the car because my hands were gettin frozen and it was becomin difficult to write!!!!
Once again another cold n wet day at Kirky, but it didnt hamper a good days motorsport apart from the ones havin to stand out in it. :lol: Was on the start line and spent the day swapin between sittin in the car workin the clock with the car running and heater on and on the actual start line. Well done to Lynch after running down the field a bit all day pulling back big time on the last 2 stages to take the win
