the gold rims dont do it any favours. other than that it looks like a good conversion.

Have to agree on that, Azev's look pish on any Cossie Escort especially in Gold :?

Know a Sierra being built at the moment which is a similar setup as that and will be a beast when it hits the road!!

Would be an interesting buy to say the least but would not like to wrap or roll it cause it could turn into a sticky situation with the Insurance company, plus originals can be bought for around £15k...

Tasty, but it would have been far nicer in standard mk5 escort bodywork with a V8 powering the rear wheels. Now that would be tasty.

surely cuttin the panels to fit them arches on would make that thing have the structural strength of a tissue box?? or is tht a swap the panels jobbie?

Fronts are fibre glass bolt on's and the rears are pop-rivoted onto the exsisting arches which are then cut back accordingly, no more than any other bubble arch work etc and lets face facts, most of em are 70bhp replica's and structural strength isnt a major worry.

I woulnt care if it was a five door with neon washer jets and max power stickers all over! 360 horse to the rears is not to be argued with!
