Driving Without Due Care?

    last friday was on a wee road just outside armagh i was in a transit van and the road was about half the width again nether the less was happily bouncing down the road doing about 40 the limit on the road is 60 went to go round a bend met a cop car i breaked he breaked stoped about 3-4 feet away rom each other and he got out lost the plot took keys out n went through all my history n cautioned me or driving without due care.

    does anyone know does this nice police man have a case?

    They always have a case when it's their word against yours.

    So is it a "caution" or an actual prosecution ?

    And it's why I have the camera in my van. It tells the truth about such incidents.

    he cautioned me told me he'd be in touch for an interveiw.

    dont think he has much of a case.

    If it ever appears which I doubt it will, a decent solicitor will make it go away pretty quickly.

    How can any police officer using their word to prosecute actually prove any similar offence ?

    They cant. Their word is taken as proof.
