yea do it in the middle of nowhere not right outside someones houe that the big difference. the level of danger multiplies expontionally and you can clearly see a car diffing round in circles form teh guys window. Im all on for it but doing it in what is classed as a built up area is in my eye dangerous driving and should carry a penalty equally as harsh. there is a time and a place and that was neither the time nor the place to hoop...

    What a thread.

Im not far from Armoy myself.

And im yet to see a circle being thrown anywhere remotely near armoy. never even seen black circles.

Saw a twin cam throw a hoop years ago outside it. We can hear guys diffing the odd time at the end of our road, but it doesnt really bother us, its once in a blue moon, and its hilarious to hear whoever it is give it 2nd Gear and for the car to near stall due to lack of power :p

Did have an altercation with a neighbour who was goin past our house flat on the limiter but that was soon sorted :)

    Time and a place.
Outside someones house in the middle of the night isnt the time nor the place. Plenty of quiet roads to do it on up in the mountains.

If there was constant diffin outside my house I'd go and drive into the *****

Ah mike, you've met the same two 306's then

Both need shot... Especially with how one of them drives through a housing estate.

There is a fairly sharp Leon on its hole though, but the way he cuts blind corners during daylight hours I don't think his sense of self preservation has kicked in yet

As a few folk on here have already said, there is a time and a place, if it was at my door i'd be gettin lifted by the police for throwing something through the guys front screen!

Share these views for sure, maybe seeing someone throw a hoop once outside the house would be amusing, limiters/tyres/dickheads at all hours of night keeping me awake i wouldnt be long loosing the rag at them. I love a good diff and am on the look out for a wee yoke for the very purpose at the moment, but time and place, and outside someones house flat out... isnt either of those

I live about 70 yds from a roundabout, and quite regularly watch a few cars sliding round it from the back window. They never stay more than 1-2 minutes and theres nothing to hit realy, so doesnt bother me at all. Infact it makes me wish i had a rwd. Thats in a buit up area too. Doesnt bother me at all. A few years ago an m3 mucked up his exit and took out a plastic bollard haha! He wasnt even givin her a diff too! Stain!

Maybe if it was more regular occurance then itd b a problem. The only way it effects me is the noise, and im hardly able to complain with a scooby fitted with a nur spec sitting in the yard haha! Or if they where in an area with alot of pedestrians or drifting through traffic like tards!

Agreed. Last time it happened, at mine, when it wasn't me,lol. I went out, hid behind the gate, with a load of bangers, then when the cars came, threw the bangers on the cars, landed on bonnets and windscreens, wiperblades, bangers exploded, the 2 cars crashed into each other.

Desiganted driver can vouch for that, lol.

I heard a bit of this on the radio this morning.

The guy says it happens up to 10 times a day, and the police have a presence, cameras etc and by sounds of things nobody has been nabbed for it.

Sounds like some serious lies being told somewhere.

Although on Monday night on the N54/Clones road I did come across someone doing donuts at a junction. I thought it was quite funny. Nobody seemed to die because of it either.

^ stevie thats not to far from my neck of the woods. The stretch of road you refer to is an odd one. Although the road is pretty straight it crosses the north south border several times and effectively is no mans land. The PSNI & the guards keep saying its up to the other to patrol it and there is a lot of uncertainly over who is right.
In the summer months groups of up to 100 people descend on it and some even bring drift cars on trailers and they simply close the road and go nuts. it has been covered by the press many many times in a desperate attempt to stop this behaviour but to no avail.
Unfortunately this particular stretch of road has claimed the lives of quite a few individuals over the past few years but non in relation to the above goings on.
