I want to wax my mums X1 and my dads 3 series, but i need a wax thats quite hard wearing because i can't be arsed doing them that often :p

I've chemical guys 5050 wax i use on the Sierra, but it doesn't last very long. I'm looking something that'll last a couple of months? If thats possible?

I've used the Autoglym HD before, i like it soo much i used it a few times then gave it away:p

I'd thought about collinte, but i've never used it before, so thought it best to ask :)

@ Stoney, whats the jetseal? Only reason i ask is i'm running low on 5050 so would be handy to order them both at the same time!

Thanks for the advise chums (L)

Sealant like the Zaino range for light coloured cars, but it's a pain in the ass too use, as it take's 3 coats....

    Collinite is long lasting....

What about you buy a nice SW or Zymol wax for it, ya tight B@#TARD....

I have to agree with Ryan and Amos a sealant will get you a far better lasting protection. From zaino you will get 6 months anyway from one application. Zaino is a doddle if boosted with ZFX but it takes the 3 coats with a Z6 buff in between. as the man says the world is your lobster!

I got collinite from pro car to do my 3 series with, turned out really well. Its £25 for a tin, but id say you could use it about 10times so well worth while.

Naviwax it's hard to beat IMO better than autoglym HD wax.. Def worth a try something different!

if your handy with a buff then why not consider supaguard? all the detailers will prob disagree but i use the stuff in work and it leaves a good finish and havin worked on cars that have been done with it theres a noticable diference long term

Davey got a new RMS name yay!!

I would agree with the majority here - Collinite 476s is a good lasting wax and great value for money

my other recommendation if you are willing to spend around 30 notes would be dodo juice banana armour or diamond white - hard wearing waxes that last the pace (y)
