Dastek Info

    Was just wondering but can dastek raise and the lower the vtec limits and raise the redline ?

    From what i remember it may be pretty much one of the only features it doesnt have, worst case scenario you can run it alongside a controller

    It can lower vtec cross over , mine was dropped to 5800rpm with my dastek in my old ep3

    so I dont need a vtec controller.Am more or less copying your engine work bronk :)

    am going for an aem intake but am gonna try something better and build a cold box with a cold air intake into it if that doesn't work Tegwia copy it is :)

    I already have an AEM so I see no reason not to try and make a cold box around the aem to take away heatsoak most kits eg AEM cai are just extensions really.Am just interested to try to be honest :)

    Yes it can drop Vtec but needs an extra little controller at 20 quid added into the wiring. It can't do rev limit on ep3 tho. It can on some cars but ep3 isn't one.

    thanks very much how much longer are you goanna be offering mapping for dastek as i have my chip just need get my manifold and stuff fitted and get this thing mapped :)

    I'll always be mapping them. Only difference no rollers will make is no power graphs. Will have absolutely NO effect on the power made.

    When do the rollers go.Yeah thats fine just checking as i wanna get as much done before hand as i can :)
