    Hi,

I have a dastek fitted, but i want to remove my cams, but dont have money for re-map until after my holiday. I dont want to remove the dastek. Can i just disconnect it, and reset the timing, and get it reconnected when i have cash to map it again or do i need some kind of plug that by passes this to the ECU?

    Thanks

    Robert

You can do either mate. You can get a Blanking plug or disconnect the wiring and join a couple back together, If you are going to have it remapped at a later stage i would recommend buying a blanking plug as it saves any messing about when you want to reconnect it. Contact Johnny or Neil on 02894 478668 as i know they are busy and don't have a lot of time to get on-line.

    Hope this helps

    Phil
