Are they on drugs ? or Is something actually happening ? Clearly the 270mph bit is BS...so what about the rest ? Sounds like it could be pretty cool, but amazed this is the first its been mentioned given its only a week away ?? Wonder does he wanna race ? Bangor plod will be out with their invisible sound meters waiting to threaten crushing the F1 car
Seen something similar in Melbourne a few years back before the race weekend,the noise echoing around the street was amazing.

well an F1 car won't do 270mph for a start so I imagine it's kph which is probabaly still an exageration especially if it's at 8pm unless they are planning on adding some major lighting to the area
yes it will mate - with ease... with the right gears in it . but i'd say your right kph maybe . has to be wrong either way . if he hit the bump at the lights at h samuels he'd still be airborn by the time he (literally) hit the courts . and he'll need to keep his foot in passing the joy st. area of the markets or the locals'll have the wheels aff it
there would need to be so little downforce any piece of cornering would set it into a masssive spin..they are "only" around 750bhp now..in the v10 days they where pushing 220mph at the old Hockenheim and that was with the guts of 1000bhp tho I appreciate that was with necessary downforce and gearing for the stadium section etc
rather watch paint dry as coulthard was a hopeless driver in his f1 career, probably end up having the redbull sitting in a shop window as crashing was what it was good at
is this for real??? Granted he was no Senna but he certainly was not hopeless, nor was he known as a crasher!
This is actually happening. The guys we hire some of our generators etc from are supplying the barriers for this event. It's just some advertising stunt by red bull..no meaning behind it other than that. It's only for 30mins or so but worth a watch anyway.
Sounds like good craic. Would be also good craic if he raced round lisburn town centre against a load of saxo VTRs and corsa sports
