What's the best product to use on soft top cars? To protect and keep them water proof? Thanks for any help in advance
Depends what the top is made out of. If it's the S2000 in your signature be careful not to use AG Convertible cleaner if it's the standard vinyl roof. I used Meguiars cleaners and sealer and it was dead on
Nanolex or g-techniq both do amazing convertible protectants. I have used one of each on both my convertibles and they are much of a muchness. Water just beads like on the painwork!
WHen I got the mx5, dont think its a Mohair roof, just a standard fit, not too sure , but was told Son of Gun boot polish is just as good a job as anything. Think it had maybe been done in this when purchased, as the water just beaded with an oily colour
Thanks for the replys lads! Gonna try out the meguires stuff! I'll also grab one of the others that are mentioned!
would not even bother with megs its a waste of money. tried it once and it will bead for a day or so then its back to normal.
