I left my Cayman S into Agnews for a service last night.

They had been promising me a 24hr test drive in a Cayman R for the last two months so it seemed as good a time as any to accept.

The car is a Nov 2011 with PDK gearbox - 1300miles on the clock.

Only one word for it - Awesome. The speed and handling where out of this world.

I would deffo consider the PDK gearbox for my next car.

How much fun would that car be! I can't imagine anyone driving one without looking like Jack Nicholson's joker!

    Minus the hideous scarring obviously

It was offered to me. I am really interested in either a Boxter Spyder, Cayman R (used).

But the new Boxter S is right in the ball park money wise...... so it may be a option.

That is fantastic Martyn, the only other Porsche this side of a 997 GT3 that interests me. It'd have to be manual though...

Saw a lovely green cayman R a few weeks back near Boucher. Looked great but really didn't seem quick enough to justify the price tag for me!
Have also seen the boxster spyder and they are gorgeous, much prefer the look of either of them to a normal 911.

Really liking that. I've never been a Porsche fan to now. The new models seem to be pin sharp in the looks department. Even the jeep and the 4 door!
