We have just upgraded our numberplate making software and can now make Hi Line, Carbon Fibre effect and 3D look number plates which are 100% legal. This has been recently approved by the DVA and are a nice upgrade from your totally standard plates. Feel free to call in and see your plate on screen in the various fonts. Plates are £20 for a pair. This machine also makes full colour (photograph style) show plates. Images are pre set but there is a large range of Racing, Rallying, Car makes, Moto GP and Football teams etc. Full Colour plates are £15 each
Cool. Since when were the different fonts legal? Not like the DVLA to be getting more relaxed, usually other way round! Might be interested in a set of the 3D plates
had carbon effect plates on my old civic. sold it to my cousin and he got fined for it. when did they become legal?
Carbon 3d and hi line are all legal Halfords have sold them all for atleast 4 years but there about 35 per set from Halfords!the company that supply them can also give u a letter explaining that there are 100% legal Then you can show mot and police if you have any problem with them
They have always been a grey area, technically they were always legal but just recently the DVA have accepted them and given the thumbs up to using them
