I think the fact that she was coming over from Liverpool to see 50 Cent says it all really.

Probably J, but the leather etc would probably cost silly money to buy as its usually in high demand.

Well I got a phonecall on saturday to say she had gone down the dealer p/ex route and obviously didnt get a favourable price, so she came back to me and is giving it to me at my price.

Picking up on Friday all being well!

You are complicating matters a bit here.

Any time I've bought a car in UK, I've haggled on the phone and got them down by anything up to a grand. Then I just turn up with the cash and worry about getting it home myself.

Some English people do not understand the concept of haggling and just will not budge, others are more workable, really just depends on who you get and how desperate they are to sell. Personally I've always grown up around a bit of haggling and will always factor that into the price when I come to sell as I've never yet sold a car at full asking price and would not expect to either. Once or twice I've bought at full asking price purely because I just had to have the car and the seller knew it

Would love a silver lightening VXR but I would have to stretch to a 2008 model. I would like one in either arden blue or flame red with factory xenons.
