    Basically, as the title says.

I'm 21, I've bought myself an nice E36 M3 Evo, and was all up for insuring it with Adrian Flux, brokering for Highway, but then they ntold me that the £2514 premium is non-cancel-able. So if I were only to have the car for a month or 2, I'd get no refund when cancelling my insurance. I dont plan on having the car past mid-summer you see so no point paying the full wack and not getting any of it back...

Highway seem the only people game enough to cover me, so does anyone have any other companies worth trying?

    Thanks

From memory / experience the E36 models have a very high premium due to their history of accidents etc.

Greenlight wouldn't quote on one at all depsite it being a significant decrease in terms of power / performance to car I'd previously had, although at the time they would've insured an E46 model with no problems.

I ended up using some comparison websites in order to get an idea of the best deals out there.

Yeah I've rang everyone I can think of, Adrian Flux, HIC, Footman James, Hughes, Abbey etc. Adrian Flux and HIC quoted me the £2514 via Highway Insurance. But they wont let me cancel my policy, and I don't fancy wasting £2500 on insurance for a second car I'll only drive over the summer on weekends lol..

Also more expensive to buy lol. Yeah I see alot of companies like greenlight wont even insure them! They've built up quite a reputation for tree-climbing lol

Not really Quinn anymore, some cowboys in administration running it, after making the man bankrupt, with his bad construction industry investments.

I think that it is always best to shop around no matter what you are buying and the best place to check out insurance prices, would be an insurance website. I have found a really good one and was wondering what you guys think http://www.insuro.co.uk/truck-insurance-comparison/
