Antera Valves...

    Hi,

    Went to pump up tyres and have these antera valves.. never seen them before.. what do i need to pump tyres up ?

    Are the valves on anteras not inside the centre cap????

    Not on mine. In the pic above the very middle of the circle is the valve (if you push it down air comes out) and it looks like its threaded so something screws in to it ? Not sure what the 2 wee holes are? Im guessing theres some special antera adaptor thing for them ?

    Yea a special antera valve screws into them, I had these on my rims in the past, car care centre would maybe be your best bet, 02892 628628 or elite wheels online used to be the main uk stockist for them back in the day, it's a silver metal valve that screws in

    Always remembered years ago, as nice a touch as hidden valves were with the Antera wheels it was doomed to be a royal pain in the ass sooner or later.:(

    Look on eBay for flush valves and you'll find kits with the valves and the stem for screwing into them. Usually about 15quid

    they're different from the antera ones unfortunately, I misplaced mine once and tried the rich brook kit but the thread was different (n)
