2006 Vw Golf ... Button / Switch On Drivers Side B Pillar??

    What is the button / switch on the drivers side B pillar for, on a 06 golf?

    I pressed it a few times and didn't seem to do much.

    Is it the same on all Golfs...

    It's on the pillar of my mothers 'R23 V6' poverty striken golf.

    if its same as SEAT its to disable the interior alarm sensors of the car if you have a dog/child/ in the car once you've locked it

    It was on my 05 golf SE so I would imagine its on any golf fitted with an alarm
