Default Wireless Router Info

We currently have a Belkin N150 Wireless router, But every so often the internet keeps cutting out on both laptops.

You would be browsing away then it just comes up cannot display page and then after a few seconds and a refresh it comes back up.

After some googling i found that it may be the router but im not entirely sure as i dont seem to get the same problem on the iphone.

Just looking some help as its starting to get annoying lol

Try changing the wireless channel on the router. Channel 6 ain't too bad

Tried all the channels dude and restored factory settings etc.
When it says the page cannot be displayed it still comes up that its connected local and internet in bottom corner.

I'll have a wee think bout it. U can also force the ip address and def gateways on the pc's. This can often help give a more reliable connection

is there any electrical devices near the router that could potentially be causing radio frequency interference or electrical interference ?

Try connecting to the router via ethernet cable (you usually get a yellow one with the router). If it works fine with no dropouts then it is a wireless issue. If it still cuts out then it could be either a faulty router or a dodgy connection between you and the ISP. In either case your ISP should sort that out for you.

Instead of using a Ethernet just log into the router and check connection status

Thanks for the help guys.

The router runs off an Ethernet cable as opposed to USB.
It also says on the router status that it's still logged in
firmware is uptodate

I think it's new router time.

I got it in currys maybe not even a year ago so il see if I can find the receipt.

RCS- Was in with you guys today enquiring about pads for the G220, forgot about the router lol. Shop is looking good! Very helpful!
