I didnt think there was such a thing, But just seen this...

205 1.9 GTI "Turbo'd" 0-60 in 5.2 seconds, 1/4 mile in 13.6 and 243BHP
Now thats Fast!

ummm... Dermot you do know that a Turbo Technics conversion was available as a factory option over 15 years ago? :?:

That was Group B in general, the car you refer to was the 205 T16... think it used the windscreen out of a std 205!! oh, and maybe the lights!!

I was lucky enough to see a tubo'd 205 GTi (not a Turbo Technics, but a home conversion) set a 0-60 of 5.85 secs at the French Car show. Still wasn't fastest time of the day, though. one of those R5 turbo guys was regularly knocking out 0-60's in around 5.0 secs :shock:

Nope... I didnt, But this one looks like a home made jobby...
