how did u know the bonnet was a pain.. 3 hours spent on it. For some reason it was a nightmare. Swirls wouldn't come out then it wouldn't even refine right, and there was some form of buffer marks on it (i assume thats what they were)

porter cable 7424 yes, you can get them from autopia in the US. I think there is a new more powerful version out now tho. Here is the one I have Porter Cable 7424 Car Polisher | Electric Orbital Auto Buffer

Paste the .jpg/.jpeg between a pair of image tags - [img] [/img] - and you're done.

Thanks for the link by the way. I spent four days last october with a polisher and my car has come up a treat. But there are still a few little niggles I want to get out, and my polisher is too big for that.

Well lad welcome to the site. I have a Dave F induction kit in which comes with a heat shield etc which i a simple DIY job.To be completely honest in term of feeling any real difference in performance I cant say I've noticed anything, but the induction sound when you hit the 4k rpm mark is awesome, far more of a raw aggressive sound but is still civilised in low revs. Heres a wee clip for ya
